Police are on the search for a man wanted in a hit-and-run that left two people hospitalized this morning.
Authorities say the driver fled the scene after crashing into two pedestrians and an apartment building at Spring Creek Towers in Starret City.
It occurred at around 2 a.m. at Seaview and Louisiana avenues.
Initial reports said one victim was pinned against a wall.
Police say both victims were rushed to Brookdale Medical Center. A 27-year-old man is in critical condition and a 32-year-old woman is recovering from serious injuries.
The driver left his black Mercury Mountaineer behind. Authorities say the man is wearing dark pants and a short-sleeved shirt.
