Authorities say multiple suspects are wanted in connection to separate stabbings in Brooklyn.
According to police, a 15-year-old is now recovering at a hospital after they were stabbed near the East 105th Street L train station Sunday night. It's unclear what led to the stabbing.
The suspect they believe is involved picked up the teen's phone after they dropped it during the altercation and that suspect got away on a northbound L train at 2 a.m.
The victim was transported to Brookdale Hospital and is expected to be OK.
In another incident, a 27-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with minor cuts to the head while on a train at the Franklin Avenue subway station at around 4 a.m.
Police say four people they believe to be involved fled on foot after the incident.
Looking at the numbers, the NYPD says felony assaults are slightly down. There have been 281 so far in 2023; last year at this time, police say that number was at 285.
