Cranford police say two men were arrested during a traffic stop when officers uncovered a gun loaded with hollow-point bullets.
Marion Carson, 22, and 21-year-old Gabriel Olaniyi were initially stopped on Wednesday for careless driving, officers said. Authorities say a search of the car uncovered a loaded handgun that belonged to the passenger.
Carson was taken into custody and now faces weapons charges
Olaniyi was also arrested when police found a warrant out for him.
