Police: 2 men face gang assault charges after Brooklyn Bridge Park stabbing

Two people are in custody this morning after a teen was stabbed in Brooklyn Bridge Park Tuesday.
Police say a fight escalated into violence, with a 25-year-old ending up with a hand laceration.
Officials say they fight broke out around 6 p.m. near the basketball courts on Pier 2.
Police say the two men, 18-year-old Maleek Mayers and 18-year-old Christopher Brown, were arguing with the victim when one them pulled out a knife.
Mayers and Brown have been charged with gang assault, assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.
Anyone with further information is asked to call police.
