Coast Guard: Bodies of 2 missing boaters found in Smithtown Bay

The bodies of two missing boaters who went fishing on Long Island Sound were found early Wednesday morning, Coast Guard officials say.
A Suffolk marine unit found one body in Smithtown Bay at about 6 a.m., while a boat from Eatons Neck Coast Guard station found the second body and the canoe in Smithtown Bay 45 minutes later.
The victims have been identified as Roberto Murillo, 60, and Roberto Guevarra, 36.
Officials say both individuals were wearing life jackets.
The Huntington Station men launched a canoe at Makamah Road in Fort Salonga around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.
A family member called 911 about three hours later when the men did not come back.
Coast Guard officials say what happened is tragic, and is something they've seen often lately, especially with colder water temperatures.
Suffolk's aviation unit, firefighters and the Coast Guard were involved in the search.
