The shooting happened on State Street, across from Mayor Joe Ganim’s office.

9h agoTwo people were injured in an overnight shooting in Bridgeport.
The shooting happened at the intersection of Broad Street and Bank Street around 2 a.m.
Police say a firearm was found in front of the Brick and Barrel bar and restaurant.
A 28-year-old Bridgeport man was shot in the abdomen while a 56-year-old Bridgeport man was shot in the leg.
Both have injuries that are not life threatening. Police say the shooting is an isolated incident resulting from a dispute on the sidewalk.
