According to police, two women were shot early this morning.

They say gunfire rang out on East 52nd Street in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens around 3 a.m.

Police tell News 12 one of the women was hit in the hand and the other in the leg.

Both were taken Kings County Hospital where they're expected to be OK.

This morning's shooting comes after another woman was shot in the head Thursday, also on East 52nd Street.
