A 21-year-old man is in custody today after police say he was involved in two separate robberies and a shooting that injured a 44-year-old man Tuesday.
Police say the suspect walked into a pizzeria on Halsey Street and pulled out a gun in an attempt to rob the business. They say the worker didn't comply and was shot in the leg.
The 44-year-old was taken to Kings County Hospital and is expected to be OK.
Police say following that incident the 21-year-old then robbed a 34-year-old man of his cellphone.
