Police: 23-year-old man fatally shot on busy avenue in Crown Heights

Police are searching for the suspect who opened fire on a busy Utica Avenue Thursday night and killed a 23-year-old man in Crown Heights.

Police are searching for the suspect who opened fire on a busy Utica Avenue Thursday night and killed a 23-year-old man in Crown Heights.

Officers say the victim was left with multiple gun shot wounds throughout his body. He was rushed to a hospital where he later died.

It's not clear why the man was shot.

No arrests have been made.

This shooting comes one day after 21-year-old Brandon Nichols was shot to death at an apartment building on President Street.
