Police: 3 injured after scooter, car collide in Kingsbridge Heights

News 12 was told two women were riding on a scooter when they crashed into a black car with taxi license plates.

Police say three people are in the hospital after a collision involving a car and a scooter early this morning in the Kingsbridge Heights section of the Bronx. 

The incident happened around 3 a.m. at the corner of Health Avenue and Fort Independence Street. 

News 12 was told two women were riding on a scooter when they crashed into a black car with taxi license plates.

The scooter was left in pieces all over the road and the car had a broken window. 

The women and the man driving the car were taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.
