An early morning shooting sent a man to the hospital Thursday.
Authorities say a 31-year-old man was shot in the chest at the Armstrong Houses just before 1 a.m.
According to police, the victim was in his apartment on the fourth floor when someone knocked on his door.
The two men then got into an argument in the doorway, ending with the 31-year-old being shot in the chest. The shooter then ran off.
Officers found a gun on the second floor of the Armstrong Houses. A family who lives on the second floor says a stray bullet went through their window.
They describe the suspect to be wearing a gray hoodie, black pants and carrying a blue backpack.
The victim was taken to the hospital where News 12 is told he's in stable condition.
