Police say a woman was sexually abused while asleep in Bay Ridge.
Police tell News 12 the victim was asleep in a parked car when she says a man sexually abused her on Friday, July 5, around 1 a.m.
News 12 is told the 32-year-old woman told police she was sleeping in the front passenger seat of a car parked at the corner. That’s when she says a man reached in through an open window and began to "sexually abuse" her while she was asleep.
When she woke up, she says he took off running down the street and into a building near 82nd Street and Fourth Avenue.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
