Police: 40-year-old man injured in overnight shooting in Crown Heights

According to investigators, officers were dispatched to St. John's Place near the intersection with Buffalo Avenue at around 1 a.m.

Police responded to an overnight shooting that injured one person in Crown Heights.

According to investigators, officers were dispatched to St. John's Place near the intersection with Buffalo Avenue at around 1 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a 40-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his arm, hip and stomach.

The victim was taken to the hospital. He is expected to recover.

Police did not provide a description of a suspect.
