Police: 47-year-old man fatally stabbed in Brownsville
Police say a 911 call brought officers to the scene of an assault in progress on the corner of Hegdeman Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard.

Police are asking for the public’s help locating the suspect responsible for fatally stabbing a man Saturday in Brownsville.
They say a 911 call brought officers to the scene of an assault in progress on the corner of Hedgeman Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard.
Upon arrival, they found 47-year-old Noel Williams covered in multiple stab wounds to his cheek, arm and left thigh.
Williams was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Police say an investigation is ongoing.
