Police say a 61-year-old man was fatally struck by two hit-and-run drivers in Prospect Heights around 2:15 a.m. Sunday.

Police say a 61-year-old man was fatally struck by two hit-and-run drivers in Prospect Heights around 2:15 a.m. Sunday.
Authorities say the first vehicle was traveling northbound on Washington Avenue when it struck the man. Police believe a second vehicle then hit the victim at the same location.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died.
The drivers did not remain at the scene after the accident.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation is ongoing.
