Several Canarsie residents woke up on Thursday to find their cars heavily vandalized overnight.
Seven vehicles were vandalized with bricks on E. 81st Street and Paerdegat Avenue. The bricks used to smashed windshields and side mirrors were left inside the cars. 
According to an eyewitness, the incident happened Wednesday night between 11:30 p.m. and midnight. They say a man began smashing bricks into cars after he allegedly argued with a woman believed to be his girlfriend. 
Police are still searching for the suspect.
