Truck drivers in East New York are furious after police say seven tractor-trailers were set on fire Sunday.
The trucks were set on fire at several locations, beginning around 3 a.m. and were spread out from Essex Street and Stanley Avenue.
Some of the drivers, who say they work for the company T.T.S., are independent contractors who carry municipal waste.
They say TTS has been in contact with their workers and they now have to wait for the insurance companies to file their complaints.
The workers say several other trucks have been burned over the past several months.
