The NYPD has made an arrest in a hit-and-run investigation in the Bronx.
Police say the driver of a stolen flatbed truck slammed into a 49-year-old man in the Wakefield section of the Bronx on April 22.
Police arrested and identified the suspect as 58-year-old Carl Jenkins. He has been charged with grand larceny, leaving the scene of an accident and vehicular assault.
As seen in the video, the driver hit the victim and continued to drive away without stopping.
The victim suffered serious injuries, including broken bones.
