Police say the Uber Eats driver accused of stealing a puppy in Flatbush earlier this week has been arrested.
Police say Michael Gardner is being charged with grand larceny and criminal possession.
The pup named Ella was reunited with her owner on Tuesday by a man who claimed that someone else paid him to drop her off.
Ella’s owner says the dog slipped out when her pizza was delivered.
Surveillance video appears to show the delivery driver taking her into the elevator, out of the building and into his car.
Uber Eats tells News 12 it immediately took Gardner's access away when the dog owner reported what happened.
