Police say a hit-and-run crash in Bushwick seriously injured a bicyclist overnight. 

The incident occurred near Central Avenue and Linden Street just after 3:30 a.m.

Police say the 32-year-old bicyclist was hit by an unidentified car as he was cycling southbound along Central Avenue. It's not clear yet which way the car was driving or how the two came into contact. 

Witnesses say the vehicle fled the scene after the crash injured the cyclist. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital. 

Police are trying to track down the driver.
