The body of a 41-year-old man was discovered Friday in the backyard of a home in Bushwick, according to police.
The body was found around 4 p.m. behind the home on Himrod Street near Evergreen Avenue.
A police dog made the discovery after police responded to the home for a noise complaint.
Investigators say they believe the body may have been buried on Sept. 28. It was found wrapped in a black plastic bag.
The man's identity and his cause of death have not been released.
