A car crashed into a scaffolding in Bed-Stuy Sunday after colliding with another car on Gates Avenue.
Police say a black SUV driving on Nostrand Avenue hit a white car and the force of the collision sent it into the scaffolding outside of 390 Gate Ave.
Police say they received a call reporting the incident before 3:30 a.m. Both drivers remained at the scene and were treated for minor injuries.
The company Triboro Scaffolding came to the scene shortly after the crash.
The Department of Buildings says multiple parts of the scaffolding were damaged, but the building itself is unaffected.
The department says police will remain at the scene until the scaffolding company cleans the debris.
The intersection of Gates and Nostrand avenues was still closed as of Sunday afternoon.
