say that a white BMW was stolen on Flatlands Avenue and East 89th Street in
Canarsie Tuesday night.
According
to the NYPD, two individuals jumped into the vehicle and sped off with an
8-year-old child and a 1-year-old infant.
Police
say that the individuals responsible left the car at the intersection they
stole it from once they realized two children were in the back seats.
While
it has not been confirmed by authorities, locals in the area say the two people
responsible stopped inside of a local fast-food restaurant one block
north of where the incident took place.
Police
say that no arrests have been made in connection to the carjacking.
