A drug deal and attempted robbery resulted in weed seemingly falling from the sky in Sunset Park.

The incident happened on June 1 when investigators say a man arranged to meet with several people to sell them marijuana on the rooftop of a building on 4524 8th Ave.

When the customers arrived, police say one of the men pulled out a gun and started punching and kicking the seller before attempting to take a garbage bag supposedly full of weed and throwing it off the rooftop.

People who were walking by the front of the building started picking it up and running.

The seller was taken to the hospital with bruising and cuts to his face.

The suspect allegedly fled the building in a black BMW sedan, and went eastbound on 46th Street.
