Police are searching for two suspects who robbed two victims on the A train last month.
Investigators say the robbery happened on Sept. 20 at 5:45 a.m. They say the victims, ages 20 and 21, were riding the A line when the suspects walked up to them and simulated having weapons.
Officials say the suspects demanded the victims' phones. The victims didn't argue, police say, and handed over their cellphones and debit cards. The victims were then ordered off of the train, exiting at the Jay Street-Metrotech station.
The suspects remained on the train while the victims were left stranded.
Police say the suspects then bought a meal at a nearby McDonald's with the stolen debit card.
Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
