According to police, both ambulances were headed to the same job - a disorderly intoxicated person outside of Barclays Center at around 10:30 p.m.
One of the ambulances was headed westbound on Union Street and the other was headed northbound on 7th Avenue when they crashed head on at the intersection and smashed into a pole, and then beside the Bank of America. Video from Citizen App shows the two FDNY ambulances with extensive damage.
