An investigation is underway after police say one person was found dead in an apartment building on 71st Street in Bensonhurst.
Authorities say they were called to the building at around 11:15 a.m. and found two people unconscious, and one other person conscious but in need of medical attention.
One of the people found unconscious was pronounced dead on the scene.
The medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death.
The other two people were taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.
