4ds agoA Freeport man is accused of attempting to rape a 13-year-old girl.
Police say the girl called a local car service on Feb. 9 to take her home.
During the ride, Eudy Mejia allegedly stopped and asked for a kiss.
News 12 is told the teen tried to leave, but he took off, parked and locked the doors.
Police say Mejia climbed on top of her, but she was able to fight him off and escape.
