Police are searching for a group suspected of assaulting and robbing a teenage boy.

Police say the suspects went up to a 14-year-old boy Thursday in front of 253 Washington Ave. and began assaulting him in an apparent unprovoked attack.

The group got away with the teenager’s cellphone.
