The NYPD is after a group of men who they say are behind 24 separate citywide crimes.
Police say the group would order a car from apps such as Uber or Lyft but would request the driver to change destinations once in the car.
They'd then steal the driver's phone and take off, using it to transfer money from the victims' bank accounts into their own.
The NYPD says they've done this at least two dozen times in the past eight months.
Anyone with more information is asked to call police.
