Police say they are looking for the driver that struck a 75-year-old man in Brooklyn this morning.
Officials say a box truck traveling eastbound hit the elderly man as he was crossing 86th Street at around 11 a.m., then drove off.
Witnesses say a construction worker ran to help the man who was lying in the middle of the street, pulled him to the sidewalk and called an ambulance.
The victim was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where he is currently in critical condition.
Police are still investigating the incident.
