Police have identified the pedestrian killed in West Nyack on Wednesday.

It happened near 116 North Route 303 around 8:20 p.m.

Patrick O'Neill, of Rockland County, was taken to Montefiore Nyack Hospital where he died later that evening.

Police say the driver of the vehicle that struck the 54-year-old remained at the scene.
