A suspect involved in the murder of a Yonkers teen has been identified.
Last weekend, 14-year-old Ethan Reyes was found fatally stabbed on a train platform in a north Harlem subway station.
Reyes was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Manhattan DA's office has now identified 15-year-old Kelvin Martinez as the person suspected of stabbing. Police say Reyes and the suspect are part of rival gangs.
Investigators say Martinez was cornered by Reyes and a friend, and they started beating him with a broomstick.
Police say it was at that point, Martinez stabbed Reyes in the stomach.
Martinez was taken into custody by police. He is charged with manslaughter in the first degree.
