Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting Sunday in Fort Green.

Jamel Davis, 43, was shot in the torso at the Whitman Houses where he lives. EMS took him to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He did not survive.

Police have made no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
