Police are investigating three shootings in Brooklyn.
Officials say the first shooting happened at the corner of 7th Avenue and 61st Street last night. They say 68-year-old Yingguan Chen was shot in the head and arm outside of Popeye's around 9:30 p.m. Police say Chen later died at Lutheran Hospital. They say the shooter was wearing a black jacket and a pink baseball hat.
According to police, around 10:30 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in the face on Gates Avenue in Bed-Stuy. They say there was some kind of dispute before the shooting, and the suspect fled in a gold sedan. Officials say the victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Police say a third shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. today on Warwick Street in East New York. They say a 20-year-old man was shot in the right knee. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he is in stable condition.
