Attacker on the run after slashing man’s face on Coney Island

Police say they are investigating a stabbing near Roebling Playground in Williamsburg.

A 911 caller reported a brawl between two males near Bedford Avenue and Taylor Street just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the NYPD.

Police say a 30-year-old man suffered a stab wound to the stomach.

Paramedics took him to Methodist Hospital, where he is expected to recover.

The NYPD is looking for a man wearing a red shirt, a camouflage baseball cap and blue jeans.
