The NYPD confirms they are investigating three separate shootings across Brooklyn.
In the first shooting, police say a 27-year-old woman was shot in Bushwick after 1 a.m. Thursday on Bushwick Avenue near the intersection of Pilling Street. The victim was shot once in the buttocks and taken to a hospital. She is expected to be OK.
Police say the suspect drove away from the scene in a black sedan.
In Crown Heights, a 33-year-old man was shot and injured overnight on Kingston Avenue near the intersection with Lincoln Place, according to the NYPD. The victim was shot once in the torso and taken to the hospital in stable condition. No word has been given on a suspect at this time.
Over in Williamsburg, officers say they are looking for whoever shot a man on Division Avenue not far from Berry Street. Police say a 21-year-old man was shot in the right leg and torso. He was taken to a hospital and he's expected to be OK. The suspect is still on the loose.
