A police-involved shooting closed both ramps Exit 53 on the Merritt Parkway in Stratford late Friday, officials say.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. during an attempt to serve a felony warrant for domestic charges.
The suspect was seen entering a vehicle when Stratford officers attempted a traffic stop where force was used.
The suspect sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital.
A firearm was discovered at the scene.
The officers involved in the incident were wearing body-worn cameras (BWC).
Parts of Route 110 were also closed.
Multiple cars were seen at the site.
Officials are continuing to investigate.
