Police are searching for a man who they say is responsible for at least a dozen robberies across Brooklyn over the past seven weeks.

The suspect targeted a variety of small businesses, including restaurants, liquor stores, beauty salons, cellphone stores and stationery shops.

In most cases, the man waited for workers to open cash registers before grabbing cash and running away.

Some victims reported that the suspect showed a knife, and others said he pushed them to the ground.

In surveillance video News 12 gathered from a business in Flatbush, the man is seen pretending to pay for a drink before pulling out a knife and telling the cashier to empty the register.

At a cellphone store minutes away, he walked in as a customer asking for service. When it was time to pay for that service, he pulled a box cutter close to the employee’s neck before demanding cash.

Police also said the suspect targeted women at ATMs in at least two incidents, saying he approached them while they were withdrawing or depositing cash.

The first reported incident happened in mid-October, with the most recent taking place on Nov. 30.

Police have released photos of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to contact the NYPD.
