Police say they have arrested and charged a suspect who allegedly pointed a laser at a news helicopter flying over brooklyn. 

WNBC says its news chopper was hit by a green laser yesterday afternoon. 

They say the chopper's reporter used a camera to zoom in on the suspects who were behind a building laughing.

Police say an NYPD helicopter at the scene was also hit with a green laser. 

Two people were taken into custody but only one was arrested.
