Police say they have made an arrest in connection with the murder of a man in his Lefferts Avenue apartment.
Family and friends are still in shock at the death of 53-year-old Melvin Vargas.
Vargas was stabbed multiple times in the back and neck in his bedroom at 25 Lefferts Ave. late Wednesday evening.
His ex-girlfriend, Esmerilda Morales, of The Bronx, was arrested and charged with his murder.
