Police are searching for a suspect they say assaulted a woman inside the Cypress Hills subway station.

Police are searching for a suspect they say assaulted a woman inside the Cypress Hills subway station.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Police say the suspect approached a 19-year-old woman on the southbound J train platform and dragged her by her hair, demanding that a sexual act be performed on him. The suspect also attempted to throw the victim on the train tracks.
The victim was able to flee the scene.
The suspect is approximately six-feet tall and weighs between 220 and 235 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black winter hat, a black jacket and dark bluejeans.
