Police: Man critically injured in moped, SUV collision in Borough Park

A man is fighting for his life after he was hit by a truck late Sunday night in Borough Park, police say.
According to the NYPD, a 23-year-old man was riding his moped on the corner of 39th Street and 14th Avenue when he was struck by a large SUV before midnight.
The driver of that truck, a 25-year-old man, did not have any reported injuries.
The moped driver was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Police say the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
