Police are investigating the death of a man who was pulled from the waters off the coast of Brooklyn.

The 46-year-old man was pulled from the water about one mile South of the Rockaway Inlet Saturday and was taken to Coney Island Hospital.

The man was originally listed in critical condition and was expected to survive. He later died.

The man has not yet been identified and the medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death.
