Police say a man has died after he crashed his car into a parked sanitation truck, causing it to catch on fire in East New York Sunday.

Police say a man has died after he crashed his car into a parked sanitation truck, causing it to catch on fire in East New York Sunday.
The crash happened near Cozine and Montauk avenues just after 9 p.m.
Police say Zackariah Johnson, 22, was driving his 2019 Toyota Camry at a high speed when he lost control and veered into the truck.
Johnson's car then caught on fire in the street. News 12 is told someone who was passing by the scene was able to get him out of the car.
EMS transported him to Brookdale Hospital, where he later died.
