Police: Woman dies in hit-and-run crash in Flatbush
Police say a woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash involving a truck Wednesday morning.
They say Linda Douglas, 67, was crossing Flatbush Avenue just before 5 a.m. when she was hit by a flatbed truck. Police say the truck driver didn't stop and continued on Flatbush Avenue.
News 12 obtained video of a tractor-trailer passing the intersection moments after police say Douglas was struck, but police haven't confirmed if that was the truck involved in the crash.
Douglas was married and had two kids and a grandchild. The family told News 12 she was heading into Manhattan where she worked as a nurse's aid.
Police say they're still working to identify the truck driver. Anyone with information is urged to call police.
