Police in Wildwood Crest say a man drowned Tuesday -- the second one in two weeks.
Officers responded around 4 p.m. to the area of Syracuse Road and the beach for report of a drowning.
According to police, Joel Green, 53, was pulled from the water at Wildwood Crest beach by nearby swimmers after they noticed he was unresponsive, and given CPR by a beach goer.
Police say he was transported to the Cape Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The drowning comes after a 19-year-old went under the surf off the Wildwood coast and never came back up. His body was recovered Saturday.
