Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in Flatbush Thursday night.

News 12 is told the shooting occurred in front of 247 East 28th St. just before 9 p.m.

Police say the 33-year-old victim was shot once in the head. Sources say the victim has been identified as James Dorce, and was fired at twice by a person in a dark-colored SUV.

He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

So far, no arrests have been made.
