Police say a 26-year-old man was fatally shot outside of a baby shower in Prospect Heights Friday night.

They say two men were forced outside after a fight broke out during the baby shower inside the Hope City Empowerment Center.

News 12 is told that officers responded to a 911 call just after 10 p.m. of a man shot in front of 650 Washington Ave.

Police found Courtney Tingle, 26, with gunshot wounds to the torso.

Tingle was transported to Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.
