The NYPD says a pedestrian was struck and killed following a series of incidents Wednesday night in Brooklyn.

Police say a 24-year-old man was crossing the street when he was struck by a tractor-trailer at Coney Island and Canton avenues after 9 p.m. The man was then trapped under the truck.

According to police, the tractor-trailer left the scene and another car making a right turn onto Coney Island Avenue hit the victim again. The car remained at the scene.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No other details on the victim or drivers have been released.

No arrests have been made at this time.
